The T20 World Cup 2024 has entered a crucial stage where teams are vying for the semi-final spot while competing in the Super 8 round.
The defending champions England are the first team to cement their place in the final four while three spots are left.
All matches of Super 8 are being played in West Indies where the pitches are a lot more batting-friendly than the ones in the United States (USA) as we saw some of the low-scoring thrillers.
Despite 49 matches being played so far, not a single batter could score a century as the highest individual score of the tournament was posted by West Indies’ Nicholas Pooran when he scored 98 runs against Afghanistan before losing his wicket with a runout unluckily.
Meanwhile, if we look at the individual stats, Afghanistan's Rahmanullah Gurbaz is leading the list of highest run-getters.
