England defeated the United States (USA) by 10 wickets in their last match of the T20 World Cup 2024 Super 8 at the Kensington Oval, Barbados on Sunday and became the first team to make way to the tournament’s semi-final.
Jos Buttler showed no mercy to the USA’s bowlers as he smashed a quick 83 off just 38 deliveries with the help of six fours and seven sixes, including five maximums in a row to USA’s Harmeet Singh in the ninth over.
With the win, England boosted their Net Run Rate (NRR) considerably and will now wait for one of South Africa or West Indies to join them in the semis from Group 2.
