The squads for the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2024 have been finalised following the players’ draft held on Monday, 15th July.
The defending champions, Guyana Amazon Warriors, selected all-rounders Raymon Reifer and Ronaldo Alimohamed. Prior to this, they retained key players such as Azam Khan, Imran Tahir, and Saim Ayub.
The Knight Riders opted for Nathan Edward and Shaquere Parris in the draft. Before that, they strengthened their squad by adding Jason Roy, Josh Little, and Tim David. Antigua and Barbuda Falcons, a new team, acquired the most players in the draft, including Roshon Primus, Justin Greaves, Teddy Bishop, Kofi James, and Jahmar Hamilton.
The Falcons also secured the experienced Pakistani trio of Fakhar Zaman, Imad Wasim, and Mohammad Amir. The Royals also boast a formidable squad after signing David Miller, Quinton de Kock, and Naveen-ul-Haq.
The upcoming CPL is set to commence on Thursday, 29th August with a match between Antigua and Barbuda Falcons and St Kitts and Nevis Patriots.
