With Pakistan set to host the Champions Trophy next year, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi visited the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on Wednesday to review the ongoing construction. 

The PCB chairman paid a visited along with director of the international cricket and general manager of infrastructure.

The chairman urged the workers to work for 24 hours so that this huge project is completed beforehand.

“Only by working 24/7, this huge project can be completed on time,” Naqvi said.

Moreover, the PCB chief inspected the construction and gave some important instructions, including drainage installation.

“Due to the bursting of pipes under the main building of the stadium, quick drainage of accumulated water should be ensured,” the chairman said.

Additionally, he asked to use some mobilised resources to complete the upgradation of the stadium before the commencement of Champions Trophy 2025.
