JOHANNESBURG: The Pakistan cricket team is set to practice for the last ODI of the three-match series against South Africa, scheduled for Sunday here at the Wanderers Stadium.

The practice session will take place later today at 2:30pm local time.

Pakistan has already won the series 2-0.

Kamran Ghulam’s blistering half-century, followed by Shaheen Shah Afridi’s four-wicket haul, led Pakistan to a resounding 81-run victory over South Africa in the second ODI at the Newlands.

It is pertinent to mention that Mohammad Rizwan is the first Pakistani captain to lead the team to three consecutive ODI series wins. These victories came against Australia, Zimbabwe and South Africa.

Last month, Pakistan defeated Australia in a home ODI series for the first time in the span of 22 years.

In the first fixture against the baggy greens, the hosts secured a two-wicket victory, while the visitors won the other two matches.

After the ODI series win, Pakistan lost T20I series in Australia. However, made a comeback in Zimbabwe, winning both ODI and T20I series respectively.

After the conclusion of the ODI series against South Africa, both teams will face-off in a Test series, with first match to take place on December 26 in Centurion and the second on January 3 in Cape Town.
