Club America recently secured their third consecutive Liga MX title with a 3-2 victory over Monterrey in an enthralling final.

Meanwhile, Inter Miami, comprised of eight-time Ballon d’Or Messi, Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba, secured remarkable success in the recently-concluded Major League Soccer (MLS) 2024.

The MLS club had remarkable success throughout the league, finishing as league leaders with a record 74 points and winning the Supporters' Shield.

Notably, this is not the first time the Argentine star will face a Mexican team.

The former Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) star has faced Mexican teams several times, boasting an impressive record of three wins and two draws.
